Pixels & Compositions

I feel images are made first in your mind and the camera simply translates your imagination. This is a photograph of pollen grain dispersion from a grass blade. This grass is found all around the area in my region. For naked eyes the pollen grains appear to be like a white powder falling off from the seeds when you tap the grass blades. I first visualized this image in my mind and planned the technique. Used a off-camera flash to freeze the pollens mid air. I visited the forest area for two consecutive days to get the perfect picture which was technically perfect and more importantly, aesthetically pleasing.
